We can only help animals that we have foster homes for, in Florida especially. This is where YOU and your family come in.

1. Fostering is basically FREE to you. WDFR covers ALL medical needs of the foster pet, all food costs, and if anything else is needed, the public usually comes through for us!

2. We are upfront with you. We will always do our best to prepare you with a timeline. Example: how long you are expected to foster a particular pet.

3. You offer all the TLC, training, and a warm place to sleep.

4. Our Florida Chapter is primarily located in Brevard County. The veterinarian we use is in Melbourne, so we try to keep our Foster Homes within the same county.

 

The most important job a Foster Family has is getting to know the pet. We need you to find out all of his or her dislikes, likes, personality traits, and individual needs so we can place them in the best forever family possible.
